Under 13s

In the first half the boys put on a brave, enthusiastic and fighting performance especially in the midfield. They showed good defensive qualities and put together a number of effective attacking probes down both flanks. The defensive structure held firm and we enjoyed good possession.

Under 13s

In the second half we were made to work a bit harder for the ball but we still held firm and at times dominated the game. We also withstood some blistering attacks very well. We did concede a late goal but that does not take away from the commitment the boys showed on the field and the support they received off the field from coaches and staff.

Under 13s

All in all a great performance for our first competition game. Thanks also to Syd Uni who played the game in a very sporting and fair spirit which contributed to a great match. Congratulations to all concerned.
